GLP-1 Supplement Cost Comparison
Advertised prices in this category are close to meaningless — some are per bottle, some per serving, some are a first-month rate that doubles later, and ready-to-drink products quote a single unit you'd take daily. We priced all 20 on the same basis: what one month at the recommended dose actually costs.
How we calculated these
- Capsules and powders use the per-month cost at the labelled daily dose, taking bundle pricing where the product is normally sold that way.
- Ready-to-drink products assume one serving daily. Many GLP-1 patients drink two, which doubles the figure — treat these as a floor, not a ceiling.
- Introductory rates are excluded. A $149 first month tells you nothing about month seven. These are ongoing costs.
- Prices move constantly. Verified August 2026. Confirm before buying — this table is for comparison, not checkout.

Price tells you less here than in most categories
In the prescription market, a cheaper provider is generally selling you the same molecule. That isn't true here. A $10 probiotic and a $105 protein shake aren't competing — they solve different problems, and one of them isn't solving a problem you have.
So sort by cost second. Sort by what you actually need first: protein if you're on a GLP-1 and losing muscle, fibre if you're constipated, a probiotic if your digestion is the problem, and nothing at all if you were hoping a supplement would replace the medication.
The best value in each situation
- Want Akkermansia cheaply: Codeage at $10/month, or CoreAge Rx at $24 if you want published testing and cold-chain handling.
- Constipated on a GLP-1: Metamucil at $22 — the cheapest and best-evidenced fix.
- Need protein: Premier Protein is the most protein per dollar; a powder would be cheaper still if you'll mix it.
- Want fibre with GLP-1 positioning: Supergut at $45, though Metamucil does the same job for half.
- Paying the most for the least: the premium botanical blends. Check what a product does before checking what it costs.
For context: what the medication costs
The median supplement here is $50 a month. Manufacturer-direct Zepbound starts at $299, compounded semaglutide starts around $99, and eligible Medicare members pay $50 flat through the GLP-1 Bridge programme.
That gap is smaller than most people assume. If you're spending $70 a month on boosters hoping for a medication-like effect, you are two-thirds of the way to a compounded prescription that would actually produce one.
